Strategic Cooperation Between LASR and IBFTS at the “Financial Health” Conference.
The National Program for Excellence in Science and Technology, affiliated with the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research, in collaboration with the Institute of Banking and Financial Training and Studies (IBFTS), participated in the “Financial Health” conference organized by the Arab Monetary Fund via Zoom. The conference was held in celebration of Arab Financial Inclusion Day, with broad participation from regional and international financial institutions.
The conference sessions focused on the strategic transformation of financial inclusion concepts — moving beyond mere access to financial services toward enhancing the overall financial health of society, with the aim of promoting individual financial stability and supporting sustainable economic development.
This joint participation between the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research and IBFTS comes within the framework of activating their cooperation initiative in the field of banking sciences through a series of scientific and research activities aligned with relevant regulatory frameworks.
Participation in such scientific events represents a key pillar of joint cooperation aimed at developing a strategic roadmap that adds scientific and research value to the banking sector. These efforts also seek to adopt modern methodologies integrated into academic disciplines and to direct scientific research toward serving the sector’s priorities.
