Meeting Held to Advance Multilateral Cooperation Programme in Banking and Financial Training
The Institute of Banking and Financial Training and Studies hosted a joint meeting on Sunday, 12 April 2026, with the National Programme for Excellence in Science and Technology under the Libyan Authority for Scientific Research. The meeting was held to discuss and finalise the arrangements for the executive framework of a multi-party cooperation programme.
The collaboration brings together the Institute, the National Programme for Excellence in Science and Technology, and the British University in Egypt as an international partner.
The meeting follows the Institute’s recent visit to the British University in Egypt, where opportunities for training, internationally accredited professional certifications, and capacity-building programmes in the banking and financial sectors were explored.
It also forms part of a series of ongoing national coordination meetings aimed at launching the comprehensive cooperation plan with the British University in Egypt, including the proposal to organise a joint event on “Enhancing Competitiveness in the Banking and Financial Sector” in partnership with the university.
