Workshop Promotes a Standardized Methodology for Assessing Training Needs in Libyan Banks

The Institute of Banking and Financial Training and Studies (IBFTS) organized a specialized workshop today at the Corinthia Hotel, bringing together Heads of Training Departments from Libyan banks. The workshop concluded with a set of practical recommendations aimed at developing a more accurate and effective methodology for identifying training needs and formulating the 2026 training plan.
The workshop included an analytical presentation of consolidated training needs, in addition to technical contributions highlighting internationally recognized best practices in training needs assessment and the alignment of training programs with institutional performance. This approach is intended to maximize collective benefit and strengthen integration between Libyan banks and the Institute.
The event concluded by emphasizing the importance of adopting unified assessment models and enhancing institutional coordination to support competency development and increase the overall readiness and resilience of the Libyan banking sector.
